ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Amman

Upon landing in Jordan, meet our Representative who will assist you with the transfer to your Amman Hotel. After that transfer to visit Jerash, which is a city north of the capital Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it’s known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade, then proceed to visit Ajloun which is a 12th-century Muslim castle situated in northwestern Jordan. It is placed on a hilltop belonging to the Jabal Ajlun (“Mount Ajlun”) district, also known as Jabal ‘Auf after a Bedouin tribe which had captured the area in the 12th century. It was built by the Ayyubids in the 12th century and enlarged by the Mamluks in the 13th century. Ajlun Castle is located on the site of an old monastery. It was renovated as a fort in 1184. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Amman.

Day 2: Amman – Wadi Rum

Breakfast, depart to Madaba the “City of Mosaics” where you will visit the church of St. George which houses the map of the Holy Land made ​​in 571 D.C. Continue to Mount Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses, from whose summit a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley. Then free time at the Dead Sea Tourist Beach Rest house for a short swim before proceeding to Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon where the movie Lawrence of Arabia was filmed for a classic 2 hours visit of Wadi Rum in a 4×4 local jeeps. Wadi Rum is a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose amongst the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish, and golden colors. Then arrive at your camp, Folklore party & Dinner. Overnight under private Bedouin tents in Wadi Rum.

Day 3: Petra – Amman

Breakfast; depart to Petra to visit the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A city carved in stone more than 2000 years ago to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. First, you will walk the “siq”, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers, which is the main entrance to the city. At the end of the “siq”, you will see the treasury which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the treasury is breath-taking. Other monuments you will visit are the Theatre, and the Royal Tombs.  Drive back to Amman. Overnight in Amman. (Optional: Petra by night (every Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) it depend on the weather in Petra)

Day 4: Allenby – Jerusalem

Breakfast, head to Allenby Bridge, after arriving, take the shuttle bus to be transferred to Jerusalem. After crossing to Jerusalem, you will head to the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view of Jerusalem, and then go to the Pater Noster with the Lord’s Prayer in different languages. From the Mount of Olives the traditional Palm Sunday route takes you to the foot of the hill where you can see the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees. Then visit The Church of all nations.  Enter the Old City through the Dung gate to visit the Wailing (or western) Wall and view the Haram Al Sharif with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.  Walk the Via Dolorosa with its Stations of the Cross till you arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried, and then rose again.  Leave the city through the bazaars to the west by Jaffa Gate.  Drive through West Jerusalem to see the various landmarks.  Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5: Jerusalem – Bethlehem – Jerusalem

Breakfast, depart from your hotel to Bethlehem, crossing into the West Bank and stopping at the. Then into Bethlehem to see Mt. Zion, last supper room, the Church of Nativity. Onto the Shepherd’s Field in BeitSahour. A chance to visit a site such as Mahane Yehuda Market, YadVashem (the Holocaust Museum), or the Israel Museum (where you can see the Dead Sea Scrolls). Milk Grotto. Then drive through the New City of Jerusalem and visit the various landmarks. Drive back to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

  • Sights to be visited: Zion, Church of Nativity, Shepherd’s Field and Milk Grotto.
Day 6: Jerusalem – Allenby – departure

Breakfast, visit Jericho city, Mount of Temptations, Sycamore tree then transfer to Allenby to cross to Jordan, continue to Amman Airport for final departure or transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for final departure.

Note: Departure flight must be at night and not on Saturday or Friday because the border closes early.
